Oral history projects for groups, charities, family businesses, museums and archives. I do the interviews, in English or Spanish, to Oral History Society standards, and informed by my qualitative research experience. Then, I turn them into something they can keep: a book, an exhibition or a website. Each project is quoted in writing after a conversation.

Your story, the story of your family, community or organisation, in your own voice. I record it in English, Spanish, or both, and make it into a book (in plain English, Spanish, or both). You read every chapter before it is final.

Three options, by hours of conversation. 4 hours with one person: £2,100. 8 hours with one person: £3,750. 12 hours with up to three people: £5,250. These prices are for a book written in English and include a copyedit by a native English editor. A book written in Spanish costs £1,800, £3,200 or £4,500. Each includes the book in digital form, with its cover. Printed copies and versions in other languages are quoted separately.

You can start with just one recorded conversation, of up to 90 minutes. Afterwards, I send an edited extract and a written proposal for the book, for £410, to be deducted from the price if you go ahead within a month of receiving the proposal.

Some books need to be written simply to work: a practical guide from someone with long experience, the story of a charity, advice for families using a service.

I write non-fiction in plain English, for general readers and for readers whose first language is not English.

I write it in your voice, under your name, from £8,500. Or we write it together, from £4,700: you write or record, I shape and rewrite.

Both options start with a Book Blueprint: two conversations and a written plan with a fixed quote, £495, deducted if you go ahead within 30 days.

A native English editor copyedits every book, and that is included.

I prepare books for publication, including books I did not write. Ebook £300; print interior £450; both £650. Covers from £250, or £350 with the print cover. Publishing under the Árbol imprint, with ISBNs and retailer listings: £350. Printed copies at cost plus 15 per cent and a £40 handling fee.
